What are Barnyarns Bonus Points and how do I get some?

When you shop with us, for every purchase you make, you are rewarded with Barnyarns Bonus Points. The accumulated points can then be converted into a cash discount as you checkout.

For every Pound you spend (before tax, after discount and excluding postage) you will receive 1 Bonus Point (GB£1.00 = 1 Bonus Point) which you can choose to spend or save to accumulate more.**

Barnyarns Bonus Points can only be collected and spent online and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. The Points cannot be used for purchases off line at exhibitions, in our shop or over the telephone.

What are my Barnyarns Bonus Points Worth?

The collected points can be transferred into a cash discount at checkout. For every 25 points you earn £1.00 can be deducted off your order total. This equates to an additional 5% discount. Remember 25 Points = £1.00 discount

How can I check my Bonus Point Total?

To receive points and to view your balance you must be logged on as a registered user.

Here’s how to check your balance
1. Log on using your email address and password. The login box is located have way down the page on the left hand side with the title ‘Returning Customer’ (you may need to scroll down the screen a little bit)

2. When your logged on, within the Shopping Basket box on the top left hand side of the screen you will see a link called ‘Modify Profile’, click on this link and at the top of the page you will see the amount of ‘Barnyarns Bonus Points Available

Why must I be a registered user to collect points?

Basically, it’s because we need to know who you are so that we can allocate the points to you. Being a registered user also has many additional benefits, for example your address details are saved and you don’t have to fill in the forms every time you shop with us. You can also use our ‘Wish-list’ facility to add products onto the list to buy or browse at a later date or simply keep track of your order history.

How many points do I earn and how do I earn them?

The how is easy, you don’t need to do anything apart from order goods! As long as you are logged in, your points will be awarded as soon as your order is processed. The more you spend the more points you receive.

How many Barnyarns Bonus Points do I receive on checkout?

The default award is 1 point for every £1.00 you spend. There are some products though that are heavily discounted and you may receive less points, there will also be promotional products where you will receive more points. Items with differing Bonus Points will have the points award itemised within the ‘Product details’, accessed by clicking on the product image.

How do I use the Bonus Points?

To pay for all or part of your order using Bonus Points you must first allocate them to your order at ‘Checkout’.

How to allocate my Bonus Points to my Order
1. Make sure you have your goods in your basket and click on ‘Checkout’

2. Choose the ’Points’ Payment Method which is just above ‘Fax Ordering’ in the payment method list.

3. Click on ’Continue’

4. Scroll down the page to the bottom. Here you will see the amount of points you have available and underneath is a box for you to enter the amount of points you want to use for this transaction.

Enter the amount of points you wish to use in the box. (if you have accumulated a lot of points just put the full amount in the box. The system will only deduct enough points from your tally to pay for the order, the balance will remain on your account)

5. Click ’Submit’

6. If you had enough points to pay for the order in full, then your finished, your order will be processed as normal.

If you do not have enough Points to pay for the order in full, then you will be taken back to the Payment page where you will see the value of your points deducted from the order total and you will have to checkout as normal using a regular payment method to pay for the outstanding balance.

1. Bonus points cannot be exchanged for cash

2. The Bonus Points Scheme is an online scheme only. Points can only be earned and redeemed online on www.barnyarns.co.uk website

3. The Points cannot be used for purchases off line at exhibitions, in our shop or over the telephone.

4. We reserve the right to make corrections to points held on customer accounts for items that are not sent or returned to us for any reason.

5. The Barnyarns Bonus Point Scheme is a reward scheme for online shoppers. We do however reserve the right to cancel the scheme at any time.
