Madeira Carat

Carat is a great product and quite unique in the Madeira range. It is a knitted metallic ribbon available in two widths, 2mm and 4mm. Lightweight and very easy to use in many different ways. Madeira Carat can be glued, or stitched on by hand or machine, try using Madeira Monofil (The invisible thread).

The 4mm Carat braid is wide enough to accept a pipe cleaner to bulk up the product for edging. Carat can be woven, used in lacemaking, crocheting or cardmaking. With so many decorative uses Carat is a real must have!
