Classic Thread Storage Box. (Empty)

Machine embroidery thread is getting expensive so it is a necessity that the thread is stored in good order ready for use at any time. We scoured the world trying to find a suitable thread storage box that would hold a significant amount of thread but not an excessive amount and we feel we got it just right with this fantastic product.

The Thread Storage Box is plastic, but made of high impact plastic for extra strength. The box is stackable and highly portable as it comes with a moulded handle for easy transportation. The lids click down onto the body of the box with a very satisfying click, so you can be sure your thread stays just where you want it!

The box is double sided with 23 individual compartments per side with a special place on each side for your basics like scissors, needles and all those small essential items. The thread boxes will hold up to 96 Snapspools (the standard bobbin sized reels about 4cm wide) or 48 cops (the larger spools that tend to have 1000m of thread that are about 7.5cm wide) or, of course, a combination of the two.

Each individual section is 8cm long x 3,5cm deep and 3.8cm wide. Please check the size of the thread reels you have. Nearly all of the Madeira Threads fit this box.
