Finding a top quality 100% mercerised cotton in a 30 weight was not so easy, but we eventually found this superb thread made by Coats.

Star is a machine quilting and embroidery cotton with a superb lustre and excellent running rate through the machine. It has the inbuilt strength to make it a very good machine quilting thread.
