Madeira Jewel – Holographic Thread

Because of the reflective properties of Jewel, the image shown does not truly reflect the true nature of this gorgeous thread, you must see it to believe it!

Jewel is manufactured from a very fine foil and is designed to sparkle and shimmer in a 'holographic' manner. The embroidered look by hand or machine adds a rainbow glint to your embroidery.

Jewel can be used directly as a top thread through the machine and can also be blended with other threads through a large eyed needle such as a Topstitch 90 or Topstitch 100 which both have the enlarged eyes. For best results when embroidering with metallic threads take a look at our fact sheet on Needles

As a hand thread use short lengths or use as a blending filament.
