Madeira Cotona 30 Variegated

Cotona 30 is a high quality embroidery thread made from long staple double mercerised Egyptian cotton. A superb all-natural thread that adds subtle elegance to your work.

Madeira have used their clever understanding of colour to produced masterful blends of tone and intensity through subtle random colour changes. The colour variations change every 5-10cm adding texture and depth to the superb blending effects by hand or machine without the need for colour changes. Consider using the 60 solid colours of Cotona 30 in combination with the variegated reels for startling results.

Madeira Cotona No. 30 has a matt finish and creates a soft natural look and feel. Cotona 30 is ideal for: Quilting, Machine & hand embroidery & appliqué, overlocking and lace.

Supplied on large 400m Reels, these spools bring colour and quality to your work.

The special processes used by Madeira to make Cotona, ensures that the beautiful colours are wash fast and that the thread has a similar strength to polyester.

Recommended Needle Size 70/10 - 80/12

The colour shown has been faithfully reproduced from a thread wrapped shade card, but it will appear slightly different to the actual thread colour on screen. This is because every computer monitor can be set to different levels of colour, brightness and contrast.

If exact colour matching is a priority you will need a thread wrapped shade card. We carry a shade card for every range, which can be viewed from the shade card section.
