FaBond Iron-On Tear-away Stabilizer – White

FaBond is a highly advanced Iron-On, Tear Away Stabiliser that can be used to stabilise almost any fabric It is highly recommended for knitwear and stretchy fabrics such as T shirts or Polo Shirts and works on any fabric. In use, FaBond eliminates irritating distortion, slipping and puckering of the fabric and helps keep your needle cool, even on high speed, thereby preventing adhesive build-up on the needle caused by some sticky-backed stabilizers. When using Fabond to stabilise your fabric it provides extra stabilization, a whopping 200% more than a standard tearaway product)

Currently available in white only for lighter fabrics, FaBond will soon be available in Black for darker fabrics.

REMEMBER You cannot over stabilise your work, but you can under stabilise. Large designs especially should always have FaBond ironed onto the back of the material for extra support

When using the massive Hoop-It-All hoops, it is essential to use the additional stability of FaBond to obtain the best results.

Fabond can be used alone or, when using Hoop-It-All hoops in combination with the SIA Stabiliser, ironing on to the back of fabric prior to being placed on the sticky-backed stabiliser. When used, both the FaBond and SIA will release more easily from the back of fabric after your project is completed. It is perfect for appliqué, punch needle; quilt templates, monogramming, charted needlework, pattern and template making.

The advanced materials in FaBond allow either a light, temporary bond or a long lasting firm bond depending on the heat of the iron. Use a low temperate setting for a light temporary bond or a hot temperature setting for a long-lasting, firm hold. Iron the smooth side of FaBond to back side of the fabric.

FaBond stabiliser is made in the USA. The roll size is (61cm x 3m)
