Madeira Glamour No.12

This new metallic, heavy weight, texturised embroidery thread, is produced from 90% metallised polyester and 10% polyamide and will be of special interest to the creative embroiderer.

Glamour No. 12 makes it so easy to add a touch of glitz to your garment without spending a fortune. Glamour No. 12 is the strongest and most advanced heavy weight metallic embroidery thread on the market today.

Designed for three dimensional embroidery, it adds texture and sparkle while maintaining a soft hand feel. Exceptionally strong and smooth running, its unique style adds brilliance and radiance to any design. Glamour No. 12 works perfectly on all sewing and embroidery machines and is ideal for the embellishment of leather and denim, as well as top stitching, over locking, stippling, seeding and cording. Try blending with other threads for an unusual sparkling effect.

For best results, we recommend the use of the MADEIRA Glamour needle No. 90/14 or the Schmetz Topstitch Needle.

Use MADEIRA Glamour No. 12 on top and MADEIRA No.70 Bobbinfil in the bobbin. A stabilizer is an absolute necessity in sewing and embroidery proving a backing and support system that is necessary to eliminate puckering, stretching and distortion of stitches or fabric.
