Superior 'Superbobs' Pre-wound bobbins

Approximately 60 percent of the machines on the market are compatible with these standard L size prewound bobbin. The debate continues but the prewound users are winning. Although some machine manufactures warn against using prewound bobbins, it is a fact that many of the educators on their staff do use them. The risk of prewounds is in the thread quality. Make sure you use a good quality thread and clean the bobbin area regularly. The advantage is in saving time and not having to wind your own bobbins. Prewound bobbins hold up to three times more thread than self-wound bobbins.

Most prewound bobbins have cardboard sides which are removable. You need only to remove one side, the side where the sensor light is, and the automatic bobbin sensor will still work. By leaving the other side on, the cardboard side will prevent the bobbin from jumping around as it runs low.

Imagine a bobbin thread that virtually disappears as the top thread and bobbin thread harmonise.

The Bottom Line, designed by Libby Lehman, is an innovative bobbin thread for sewing with all types of top thread including metallics and designer threads. Its' silk-like finish allows it to slide, not grab, to form the perfect stitch. By matching colours, you can sew even the finest stitch without the bobbin thread showing. This soft, fine thread also prevents stiffness in embroidered designs.

The Bottom Line is also ideal for both machine and hand applique. The fine No.60 thread disappears into the fabric resulting in perfect curves and sharp points. The lint-free, ultra-smooth surface prevents snagging and knotting.

Due to its lint free quality, excellent colour choice and fine 60 weight, the Bottom Line is superb for heirloom sewing, fine lace work and intricate Trapunto.

As a Bobbin Thread

Ideal for the smallest, most intricate designs and works wonderfully with metallic and designer threads.
Secures without grabbing with a greater bobbin-fill capacity.

As an Appliqué Thread

The Bottom Line is a smooth, even thread that easily pulls through the fabric and then virtually disappears The 54 easily matched colours are basic Heirloom colours that are also ideal for Trapunto and Lace.
