Supertwist Metallic Threads, usually called ‘Effect’ threads, are twisted in such a way that the reflective properties of the foils are used to the full, adding texture and depth to a design. Unlike the smoothness of the FS range, Supertwist feels a little harsh as you run your fingers across it.

The beautiful effects achieved with the Opal, Crystal and Multi-coloured threads are the result of many different colours united onto a single thread. A characteristic of these shades is the variety of effects they can provide in your embroidery. Any variations in richness of colour within the spools or from spool to spool, are due to the special processes used to create these quality threads.

For the very best results with this thread, you must use a TOPSTITCH, size 90 Needle.
