Underthreads & Invisible ThreadsGood embroidery demands an underthread to compliment the top thread being sewn. The comprehensive range offered by Barnyarns provides the necessary choice. We are often asked which is the best bobbin thread to use, which is not an easy question to answer! I have therefore written a short guide Which Bobbin Thread? which I hope will help you choose.

Madeira Bobbin Thread & Prewound Bobbins
A range of threads to go in the bobbin that will balance out any top thread being sewn. Fine and strong choose from the smaller 500m reel to the super large 7,500m cone for extra value.
|
Superior Bottomline
Bottomline is a very fine, strong, very low lint filament polyester bobbin thread in a range of 60 colours. A filament polyester makes the best bobbin thread (in my humble opinion!)
|
Invisible Threads
Use the monofilament invisible thread for general embroidery, couching, curtain hemming and quilting when you do not want to see a coloured thread to detract from a design.

 |
Cotton Underthread
Superior Masterpiece is an extra long staple, Egyptian grown, 50/2 cotton underthread. A top quality cotton that will produce little lint and less machine downtime.
|
Polyester Underthread
Imagine a thread with the look and feel of cotton, but without the lint. That is exactly what So Fine! Is – an extra soft #50 filament polyester thread that is etched in order to give it the look and feel of cotton thread.
