Aquasol is a cold water soluble fabric that appears like a fine muslin fabric. Aquasol has all the benefits of the original water-soluble film but with added strength to make it easier to handle, eliminating the frustrating tears and holes that often appear in the finer film.
Bond is a cold water-soluble fabric with the sticky Front is the newest soluble product on the market and it is wonderful for appliqué, creative collages and those who don’t like to draw. Appearing like a fine muslin, strong and robust, the front (or top) of the fabric is coated in a soluble glue. You can create simple or complex designs by either drawing straight onto the material or using a computer and inkjet printer to print a computerised design directly onto the fabric.
Romeo is a cold water-soluble film. It has always been possible to embroider directly onto soluble fabrics to create ‘Stitched Sculptures’ We have introduced Romeo to take this process forward enabling artists and designers to cross the boundaries that previously constrained their creative talents. Romeo is the heaviest weight soluble we supply. It works as well OUT of the hoop as in the hoop. Used for lace, Jewellery, special effects, free motion or digitised designs, and suitable for all weights of thread. Romeo can be over printed with your design using an inkjet printer (use a sheet of paper as a ‘carrier’ to support the film)
Paper - A water soluble paper that dissolves in cold water. Fashion designers, quilters and creative embroiderers can benefit from using water soluble paper. It can be used as a stabiliser as well as for project design transfer. It is strong enough to reinforce delicate fabrics without adding bulk or changing the characteristics of the fabric and will accept both computer generated images printed through an ink jet printer and freehand design directly onto it. Original fashion and quilt designs can be embroidered through the paper directly onto the fabric. By following the original lines and colours, accurate representations can be created using either hand or machine embroidery. Once the design is sewn, the paper is dissolved completely away, leaving behind no chemically based residue.
